Local Man Has Opinions & Goals

Patrick Spector McGowan

- Local resident Patrick Spector McGowan has opinions and goals. When asked for comment, he said:

"Frankly, it's pretty straightforward. I have ideas that I like inside of my head, and I do my best to make them exist outside of my head to see what happens. Let me know if that makes sense."

Patrick aka "Pat Milk Gallon" is an Amazon Prime Member and Partner at Number Group, a venture studio he co-founded in 2023, building tools for privacy, freedom, and security in the internet age. Number Group is currently building the Ethereum Community Foundation and Privacy Pools. Pat has also been making AI slop since 2008, initially with picbreeder.

Previously, Pat co-founded a digital art studio called Spinning Rock, collaborating with Kanye West, Arthur Jafa, Flume, Nike, Snapchat, Google, Lyft, Columbia Records and others on internet stunts, games, and media.

More previously, Pat dropped out of Syracuse University to co-found Ponix, a hydroponic farming technology company that received a $5M USDA grant to establish the first climate-smart food production standards and incentives framework.

Pat's "favorite failures" (so far) since dropping out:

  1. Built a 6,000 sq ft legal cannabis farm in a warehouse in LA. Immediately lost it in a hostile takeover by the Crips.
  2. Bought ETH at $0.60 in 2015. Lost all of it in 2016 when a friend managing the funds longed ETH right before the DAO hack.
  3. Converted a school bus to run on veggie oil near Syracuse University with friends. Someone saw the oil barrels inside and reported it as a terrorist threat. City shut down the block. No arrests were made.

Even more previously, Pat grew up as an only child on Shady Lane, and attended Scituate High School. His parents are "the best people on Earth" according to Urban Dictionary and those who know them.

In his personal life, Patrick Spector McGowan lives between Nashville and Miami, driving a 2007 Kia Sedona. You can contact him via the links below:
